In-depth training courses cover both the pedagogy and research behind the programmes, and guidance on how to make the most out of the resources in your school. Courses are held over zoom and are open to all teachers and TAs at subscribing schools.
Early Years Number Sense
£45 + vat per person
A half-day training course covering the following key topics:

How Early Years Number Sense leads into the KS1 curriculum
The course is predominantly for Reception practitioners but the pedagogical subject knowledge elements of the course are also relevant to nursery practitioners.
Number Facts Fluency
£80 + vat per person
A two-morning training course covering the following key topics:

Subitising & composition of number (Stages 1 and 2)

How to teach the strategies and facts (Stages 3, 4 and 5)

Applying facts ‘beyond the grids’ (Stage 6)

Planning using the NFF programme

Structure and pedagogy of a number fact session

Assessing number fact fluency
The training is suitable for any teachers or TAs using the Number Fact Fluency programme, as well as maths subject leads and other school leaders.
